Very true. But this is true of any business. Companies only care about issues that affect their bottom line, Korean companies dont care about stan TW except for the ones that truly depend on locals like Hybe and maybe YG.

South Korea is responsible for the kpop genre, yes it has other influences(japanese idols, westen boy bands, hip-hop being trendy in the 90s) but it's creation was purely their's.
