Why Dalla Dalla is one of the most iconic debut songs of all time

I think it can go both ways tbh, iirc, ITNW didn't do all that well initially but is iconic because many groups cover it. BGGG is covered alot as well.

really huh i've always considered that iconic had a timing element to it

that is one could almost say that a song cannot be iconic until much later in time for it to have iconic status

i think we all consider Dynamite to be the biggest and most impactful hit of 2020 but its been less than six months so i would in no way consider that iconic (yet)

so while i agree with the success aspects of DD i would say impact wise one might need to give it time

If you all want to talk about iconic debut songs, nothing beats Seo Taiji and Boys' "난 알아요 (I Know)". It's the song that basically marked the start of modern K-pop.

But yes, I would agree that "Dalla Dalla" is one of the biggest debuts of the past several years.
