why are treasure fans insecure of other 4th gen bgs?

    Approved the thread.

    When Treasure Box aired, they gained some attention and their fans were convinced they're set to be the next big group.

    But YG kept delaying the debut. In the meantime, a member left the lineup.


    Treasure Box began airing in late 2018, and Treasure debuted in the second half of 2020. In those ~20 months they released only one song. YG killed off most of the hype. Also, during that time, other 4th gen boy groups established themselves while Treasure only had one song and an uncertain debut date. What fans believed to be Treasure's strengths were already being done by other 4th gen boy groups, often better, so it wasn't like they stood out and had a lot of people eagerly anticipating them.


    Boy was a divisive, underwhelming debut song. It didn't convince people.

    I Love You managed to be even more divisive.

    MMM was controversial too.

    The problem across all these songs is that they have a vague YG sound and a vague, brighter boy group sound. Nothing special once again; nothing others aren't doing better.


    And now Treasure, still rookies, haven't had a comeback in a long time, while most other 4th gen bgs had them recently.

    Predebut, they believed that treasure was gonna be the 4th gen leader but that didn't happen.

    I've never felt insecure of other 4th gen bgs. I don't know what you're talking about.

    I love how Treasure (despite their hiatus) and their fans are living rent free in other people's minds. Even making assumptions of how we're feeling.

    teumes had too much expectations, getting brave and calling them 4th gen leaders/ way better than other 4th gen groups. And now when it turns out others are doing better, they can't brag much about their achievements unlike what they expected. They refuse to be humble and criticize other groups to make themselves feel better. Enhypen debuted the same year as them and they're always being compared, teumes can't stand that and feel like they have to make treasure seem better when in reality it only shows how toxic their fandom is

    I wonder why teumes never call out their toxic fans. Other 4th gen fandoms have some toxic fans too, except they usually get called out while other teumes agree and always hide, pretending they're not pressed and that they don't care.

    Again, people who are not teumes knowing how we feel better than us. LMAO

    I'm a fan, I don't care about other groups and yes, this is another example of how treasure and teumes are in other people mind 24/7. Being belittled and bashed in such a passive-aggressive way.

    I guess their faves, be it whoever they are, are just too boring to keep them away from bashing treasure amd teumes.

    Tbh I feel bad for you, so bored by your faves that you keep on talking g about a group who's such a flop and is on hiatus since the start of the year.

    Toxic fandom. Wow. When you have some other fandoms making fun of a member's father's death, calling others ugly and useless. The funny thing is that you're calling us out when a lot of other fandoms are doing worst than us. Call out every other fandom then.


    And maybe we don't have the biggest achievements yet, but we are proud of what the boys have accomplished despite the circumstances. And I can't emphasize how much we love their growth from debut to now. I'm really in it for their music, talent, and not for clap backs.

    Also can other fandoms stop making statements for us and telling others what we're supposed to feel of think.

    Maybe focus on making your fandom less toxic instead of others pointing it out because y'all aren't doing anything about it. How many times did I hear someone talking about Yoshi's father and actual engenes calling their own fandom out.

    But if teumes do something wrong they can't even admit it and talk about something some engene said half a year ago and using that as an excuse to shit on some group. If you don't want people to talk like this about your fandom, you should thought about it earlier and clean up the mess beforehand instead of being a hypocrite.

    I for one never saw any engene calling out any of their cofandom members for the bad things they said.

    And I'm not talking about 1 or 2 posts. But dozens of them.

    So stop being a goody 2 shoes.

    Besides this thread is about how WE feel. Not about how you think we are toxic, can't you even read the title ?

    You shouldn't even be here writing because you're not a teume and this means you don't know how we feel.

    Do you think we are a single mind organism? Do you think all Teumes think and act the same? The way you generalize our fandom is really something else. And do you follow us? How do you know we dont call out toxic behavior of other Teumes? The thing is, you're just too bent on making us look like this toxic fandom when ALL of the fandoms have TOXIC FANS.

    Maybe think about that before throwing out such statements.

    they have nothing to be insecure about. Their members are way more talented than those mediaplayed hybe groups.

    well i don't follow Treasure

    but i remember their fans saying they'll be 4th gen leader because thei main vocal had some attention in the past

    they had their survival show and also they were saying that their fandom was big and were already doing great in japan using different data


    but once they debuted everybody felt disappointed because of how messy they were

    not in term of skills but in term of sound

    YG is trying to hard to push the usual YG sound and image on them while trying to make it brighter and more in the trend, but it's not working

    and Know more 4th gen BG are looking stronger than them


    and to be honest i don't see anybody talking about them in korea or among the international fans

    it's almost like they vanish, and if i didn't see so many thread mentionning teume and Trasure these past days i would have completely forgot that YG debuted a new BG recently


    that's maybe why YG didn't give them a new comeback yet, seeing how treasure was doing and how other 4th gen BG were doing they might think that their strategy isn't working

    and they might be thinking about rebranding their image


    It's funny how Treasure seem to have become the flops of 4th gen when they have good album sales and they have endorsements and collaborations. Clearly, their brand is working. I don't know why a group has to be number in every aspect to be considered a success.
