in my state in aust we've had 10 months with no community transmission and only one transmission last week thhen we went into full lockdown for 5 days ending tmr night...
That's right full lockdown for one case...amd no more cases since the lockdown so we'll be back to normal by Friday night

.... I had to watch a Karen walk into a store to scream at the return desk associate without a mask on and yelling at her daughter to "Not dare putting on that face diaper in order to make the stupid liberals happy". She had NO Receipt and threatened to wait for the return associate to get off work and make her pay for not taking the return. I was just tryna wait on my roommate cashing their check for rent.
I wanted to smack her over the head with a newspaper like Edna Mode. Like grow up, wearing a mask is not about what you want to do, it is about the safety of others and making sure we do not spread this illness any faster. We have lost over a quarter million people because of people with your mindset lady!

Tons of countries outside of the US have had huge anti lock down protests.
Even though the media acts like our vaccine rollout is horrible, compared to a lot of the rest of the world and especially the EU we have been doing very good with our rollout.
If you want to look at a true disaster look at the EU stumbling intitude.

Yea I will say that Brazil has been hmmm.... sad to be nice. I pity my aunt who moved there for missionary work.
We and Brazil have been ranked as the two worst countries when it comes to handling this properly. My aunt says they have been horrid handling it any prioritized rich getting the vaccine first, when they have the money to stay home and not be hurt financially -

Honestly that's not true. I have friends in Sweden and apparently people up there don't wear masks either. At least not in the cities my friends live in.

Yeah we have leaders who care about the people...for the last 10 months we didn't even need a mask outisde and schools ran normally like in person physically normally...normal work as well
we really took this shit seriously and everyone went onboard with it

All of them are in Europe, also the US has given the most vaccine doses of any country in the world, and is in the top five countries if you take in account the population being smaller in other countries.

Many american don't understand how poor some of europe' countries are. A lot of there countries can't afford a lockdown no mass testing.
Also the people are tired of the situation, our lockdowns started way before yours. Many people lose their jobs, mostly already working poors and we didn't have a summer in many countries. We've been locked in since march 2020
