Alot of them have a hard time accepting that their favorite idol might no longer be interested in making music or being active on the music side!
After a decade alot of 2nd generation idols are distancing from music and focusing on acting, CF or just variety. Things that are easier compare to music side of idol jobs. After a decade of that, no one should blame them for being tired of it.
However, their fans can not come into term with that and they express it in a toxic way. They attack newer idols and other 2nd generation idols who are still interested in making music as if they are stealing the opportunity from their favs. My favs, are on the receiving end of some of this hate bc they are still active and very much passionate
I mean common, if someone has not stepped into recording studio for the past 5 years but can spend alot of times doing other things they are obviously over it and you should let it go too.
