Memorable parts VS homogeneous song

  • Which one do you prefer? 4

    1. Killing parts but other parts you're less a fan of (1) 25%
    2. Homogenenous song you like from beginning to end (3) 75%

On my quest to have my TXT Loser Lover, badge, I'm posting several questions in the form of a versus about the preferences you can have with songs.

    Here the question is:

Do you, in general, prefer songs that have one or two memorable parts (catchy, with choreo or not, that stays in mind) but there's parts you like less or would you rather have a song that doesn't necessarily have a killing part but you find homogeneous, that you like from beginning to end?

    Let's goooo

(don't ignore me this time or you're losers)

  • I voted for killing parts but a homogenous song is amazing too.

So in order to be successful in Korea or make trends of something, the song needs maybe a KILLING PART that stuck in everyone's head. That would start a really successful song.

A homogenous song that is great in everything is nice too, for me a good example is Alcohol-Free. They might not perform as well as killing part songs but they are also great.

Yes I get what you mean!

Song with killing parts will get a chance to become iconic and get recognition. Ideally the best would be both but it's not always the case. There's a reason bsides are sometimes preferred to title tracks but we still get why the tts were chosen!

I've came to like Alcohol Free more and more (lol) because I like how chill it is and the bossa vibes are great. There's a reason this style is put in hotels and stuff, it won't wake you from your slumber but it is so relaxing and nice.

  • songs with juat good killing parts dont have replay value for me.

I might be impressed by it the first couple of times but ultimately I will drop it.

Song usually dont grow on me, i either like them or not
