Dunno if there was a thread about it.
Hyeily from Prowdmon was accused of bullying. Apparently she was a baddie in elementary and middle school as well as in those courses/classes which K-kids take after school.

CAN I JUST SAY.....
WHAT IS UP WITH SOME OF THESE IDOLS BEING POTENTIAL BULLIES WHEN THEY WERE YOUNGER?
LIKE...
interesting another one? hmmm
and daniel-cruz
well assuming idols bully people at the same rate as normal people bullying people then of course some idols are going to be bullies right?
the real question is what percentage of the korean school children are bullies and compare it to the amount of 'bullies' in kpop to see if there's a big variance...

I mean, Bullies are something over a frequent occurrence now than ever before....
But this is about the deleted pann post, knetz were kinda iffy on it when I scrolled through the comments.

hmmm i don't know about before (since i wasn't around before) but are you saying the rate of bullying accusations has increased in the past few years?
it could be because of more bullies or it could be because victims feel like they can speak out more or could be totally baseless accusations...

Yes, in my time as KPOP fan, Lots of accusations are coming forward whether it be true or false.

hmmm... see the kmc has a questionnaire where we vet potential members for previous 'scandals' lol
maybe kpop companies should learn from the kmc guild ![]()
I'm much more interested in whether a bullying accusation by a celebrity is true or false. For the past 2 years, there are many allegations have come from various idols and some athletes, but only a few have been proven true and the rest is just slander. Sometimes I just feel like they are a few that taking advantage of social media power by throwing some groundless accusation.
One example that happens this year is the actor Jo Byung Gyu. He is been accuse of school bullying & been investigated by the police. He has been kicked out of a variety show & has to stop his career for a while. Fortunately, his case is solved and he is proven not guilty because the accuser has been caught for defamation.
Someone got bitter that she got chosen as main dancer that they have to air their alleged grievances that happened when they were kids

She's not even popular enough to be cancelled just saying.
Also, not that the accuser saying this is bullying because she said that she smelled bad like???
'A' also claimed the bullying happened both in and out of school, sharing that the two also attended the same English and mathematics academy after school. During academy hours as well, the student would tease her by telling her that she smelled.'
Like wtf is this shit?

Dont mind me being blunt honestly I feel most of these bullying accusations are just people being bitter that others are more successful than them.
Like they literally forgot about the supposedly bully's entire existence and when they are on TV suddenly they are 'magically traumatised for years and that the bullying incident left a huge scar in their heart' it's honestly a whole lot of bullshit to me.
They don't want justice. They probably don't even want revenge because there isn't any revenge to be taken if nothing substantial even happen. They are just bitter souls.
I'm not saying that everyone who come out with these accusations are lying, but honestly I think 90% of them are straight up bullshit

I agree with you the victims only remember the bully when said bully becomes successful

If they really are that traumatised they would have done something about it like they magically remembered the trauma by seeing their bully's on TV? Nonsense
Also if you didn't remember about them at all for the past 20 years of your life for something that happened when you were 10 and only magically remember about it when you see your bully's face on TV, how the actual hell do you expect then to remember you and the 'supposed bullying incident'

Yes, I also think only a few are true and the majority is just a case of feeling bitter rather than revenge. If I get bullied and want revenge, I will definitely make a report or do something that can help me fight him back

But if the bullies aren't public people, what can the victims do against them? Nothing. And there's nothing that can trigger the victims' past memories either in this case, as they don't interact with the bully anymore.
When the bully becomes a public person, they suddenly have thousands of people loving them and supporting them, so the victim not only has to put up with the memories every time they see the bully on TV, but they also have to put up with people praising the bullies as being innocent angels, talented etc. It's human nature to want to expose the ugly truth about a person when you see everyone believing in the fake good persona.
But of course, not all bullying cases are true, some are just haters.

That's why it's not about getting justice. It's just people being bitter than other people are more successful than them and have to bring up incidents like 'you called me smelly when were were 10 years old' (yes that was the accusation in this case at least) to make themselves feel better for being less successful

Tbh, the smelly accusation is stupid and i would just put it at "hater category".
If actual bullying is involved though, I see it as justice.

To be honest this so called victims are more pathetic than anything they're bitter that someone is successful and they're not just take a look at the article about netizens being bitter that celebraties have luxurious houses and they don't
