GFRIEND‘s Yerin will make her acting debut with a lead role in upcoming webdrama The Witch’s Shop Reopens.
According to a press release by Sublime Artist Agency, Yerin will be starring in her first ever acting role as a lead role in upcoming webdrama The Witch’s Shop Reopens. The Witch’s Shop Reopens is a show that shows the growth of its characters through love and friendship, with the main characters Lee Hae Na, a witch who is the owner of a shop nearing bankruptcy and Ji Ho, a timid high school student working together to revive the store.
Yerin would play the role of Lee Hae Na, the owner of the witch’s shop and a witch with no dreams. Her specialty is cursing, and her hobby? Swearing. Lee Hae Na has stunning beauty and magical powers that captivates humans but her downside is that she has absolutely no skills as a saleswoman, leading to the downfall of her store. With the help of her friends, she works to try to revive her store.
Yerin has already received lots of love for her time with GFRIEND, so many fans are looking forward to her debut as an actress. She also commented on her acting debut.
