You knew it was coming. Both songs have similar ‘empowerment’ concept alluding to a Queen, but which is your favorite?
Obviously Lion feels more genuine and embodies the boldness of a strong independent female ruler. Queendom feels more like little girls dress up in terms of delivery of the message.
Imo, I think the message and lyrics in Lion leaves a stronger impression and impact but I like Queendom as a song more. So for me it’s Lion, but I’m digging Queendom’s melody. It’s catchier to me.

Lion was a cultural reset in kpop as a whole and i wish this "concept" can become popular bc it deserves! So Lion for me. It's a masterpiece.

"Queendom" is more of a feel-good song about celebrating life and being happy that you're the person you are. It's not exclusive to just "queens," as they made sure to include "kings" as well.
"Lion" is a whole lot more about female empowerment, finding your strength, and whatnot. It's a lot like "Hwaa." It's much darker and more serious.
They are not similar either in sound or in concept. I love (G)I-DLE, but "Lion" is one of my least favorite songs by them. I'll have to go with "Queendom" just for that.
P.S. There are tons of other female empowerment songs, including "Dalla Dalla" by Itzy and "Wannabe" by Itzy. I think "Dalla Dalla" would make for a better comparison to "Queendom" because it has a cheerful sound and a bright concept.
