true, it was 100% intended & i think it's iconic in its own way,

but i also think the excellence of the song itself is often overlooked because of it.

i remember the first few times listening to it while watching the mv & although it was iconic,

the mv overshadowed the song a lot.

it wasn't until i saw it at a concert stage/performance that i realised how incredible good and powerful the song is on its own (it's one of my fav bts songs now)

I strongly disagree, the chaos of the mv goes perfectly with the constant changing instrumental of Idol and the overall larger then life feel

Would say On MV is at least as good as Daechwita
