Eclipse maybe a common name.

isn't dusk already a name for a cosmetic company

I'm for Dusk Cosmetics. It sounds mysterious and attractive.

Eclipse Cosmetics sounds cooler. Dusk is a bit harsh for my ear. It can be a real problem if people don't like how the company sounds. And it doesn't even have to be something smart or creative. For example - Apple. Steve Jobs named the tech company in honor of the bitten fruit. Still, everyone is pretty okay with it, as Apple sounds okayish.
