I get that people feel happy when their biases do well. The feeling of the first win, the recognition, going from nugu to stardom, etc. But then, once the achievements are repeated, expected and consistent, becoming institutionalized, I don’t see any real satisfaction a fan can get from it. Not one fucking cent from my biases achievements is going into my pocket. How exactly propagandizing an already rich person becoming richer supposed to put a smile on my face when people, especially non-Asian POCs, are struggling more every day. “Bought a 50-story luxury apartment in cash”. Okay. That’s their achievement. Let them enjoy it. But as a fan I don’t see why I’m supposed to celebrate that
