Do you pick up pennies off the ground?

When I was a kid? Hell yes. I would pick up every penny! There was a store close to my house that where you could buy penny candy (mostly Tootsie Rolls or Bazooka Joe bubble gum) so it was worth it. Eventually that store closed down and then I learned that pennies kind of suck and you need a shitload of them to buy something good. Now days I only bend down for silver.

i never picked up pennies or even 1$ notes when i see them lying on the ground but once i got into college i immediately scrabbled for my pennies
