Did GLAM have to flop for BTS to succeed?

No

I honestly don't think GLAM would've been at 2NE1's level but I do think they might've had an impact of some kind, as for did they have to fail for BTS to succeed, I'd say no. The members of BTS are very talented and maybe the way their style was or changed may have been a little different or something, I do think BTS would still have succeeded. Who knows if it would be at the same level they are at now, or even higher or less success, but they would still have done great.

True, they did it with Trinity when it was found out she was a saesang fan of SJ Leeteuk, they continued on with the other members.

Glam was a good group, but I dont think they would have been a competitor of 2ne1, they would have to have been successful or popular at debut and their comebacks and they weren't. The 2 scandals the group had didnt help much either.

To be a face of a company, you need to be from that company.

GLAM is a group from source and BH so they can't be the face.

One of the members literally blackmailed a guy, she fucked it up for any chance the group had.
