This character called "Samsung Girl" apparently became viral around the internet. Obviously most people interested in this character are incels and otakus, but they make up the majority of people. Yet real life female idols who also did advertising for Samsung never went viral like this. Is it because this character seems more "expressive", while some have accused idols of being too robotic or rehearsed. Also her visuals are beyond the capabilities of even Korea's top cosmetic/reconstructive surgeons.
So how does a 3D CGI girl get more viral than any female idol internationally

It's just the novelty aspect of it.

it's not really novelty because 3D characters have been available for decades, in video games, movies, cartoons, etc. they obviously dig how she looks

It looks ugly when compared to any real life celeb girls be it idols or actors lol.

It is a novelty aspect for the company though.
Why would Kpop girls go viral either way? You know how people are regarding Kpop.

I don't think it's the novelty that's getting these otakus/incels hot and bothered. They just got a crush on the character the same way fangirls crush on their oppas, so they become obsessed with it

What does that have to do with going viral?

Attraction is one common factor that causes things to go viral
-
I prefer that idols are not going that viral if it means they are going to have weird sexualized drawings of them
