What *could* be done , *somewhat* more easily , would be have say
*ongoing* review (once per year) of a *defined and reasonable* STANDARDIZED CONTRACT for K-pop Idol TRAINEES ... But , it is S.KOREA , so , GO FIGURE how likely that would be (STANDARDIZED CONTRACT) ... As example , even with BIG HIT Agency (now HYBE = BTS Group) , you had the situation with DAHEE of their GLAM Group , getting involved (COURT GUILTY) of CRIMINAL BLACKMAIL of Actor LEE BYUNG HUN ... It came out shortly after her ARREST , that DAHEE was around $250,000 USD in *DEBT* to BIG HIT Agency (still) , for TRAINEE and PROMOTION expenses (her share) related to GLAM Group ... GLAM Group was NOT very successful , is what I mean to say it ... That is ONE aspect of JYPe Agency (and some others) that is GOOD , is that you can LEAVE their AGENCY as TRAINEE with NO FEE or DEBT involved ... That is NOT TRUE of all K-pop TRAINEE Contracts at all ... Which , is WHY they (S.K Government) should create a STANDARDIZED CONTRACT situation that makes it more fair for TRAINEES ... The K-pop AGENCIES that are 2nd and 3rd Tier (so *less* reputable) can be abusive and exploitative of TRAINEES in CONTRACT situations (my view) ... You get a Female TRAINEE in DEBUT to their AGENCY ... 'Mix In' the possible 'sexual ambitions' of *some* K-pop Agency *Managers* , and GO FIGURE.
...
Witness even CLARA LEE with her CEO POLARIS Agency events (Year 2015) , and GO FIGURE from that ... CLARA LEE was a *lot* older age than say Age 17 when her problems started up with CEO of POLARIS Agency ... So , CLARA LEE was *better* able to deal with it , but NOT EASILY either ... CLARA LEE was being accused of BLACKMAIL by the CEO of POLARIS Agency at the time (Year 2015) ... I thought HE was going win over CLARA LEE in COURT , but *she* 'turned the table' on him (HE LOST).

Kpop is a general term to collectively describe Korean Idols and Popular Korean Music so it is too broad to have an Union
