Great song and bassline, however I always thought it was too sparse and would have been amazing with more complexity and instruments. That pre-chorus @ 0:40 is legendary in my opinion sad so few have probably heard it

I think the minimalism of it is a huge part of the appeal to me tbh.

Like the pre-chorus you mention only pops because it's such a dramatic contrast.

The only thing I'd say is maybe it could have a better bridge.

That's a fair point the minimalist nature is unexpected and original in itself!

Not my favorite but I appreciate its distinctive quality compared to many kpop songs
