The bad thing about a BTS comeback

that BTS has this pressure to have a new #1 Billboard hit.

It sounds like crying on a high level but hear me out.

I think that makes it harder and harder for BTS to enjoy their next comeback because they have this pressure. Of course, such a thing applies not only to BTS but also to other successful artists.

I think after Dynamite and LGO many people expect the next song to be a number one song as well.

Where does this thread come from?

I've read an interview where Suga said he thinks they need to have a number one hit again. It was also in reference to the next Grammys, but basically I think they already feel that no number one hit would be a failure, which I find sad.

It just leaves me with the impression that they always have this enormous pressure. It is normal to want your comeback to be the most successful. But I think that especially with BTS many people don't expect a constant success, but an increasing one.

I hope that BTS gets a lot of love and that Butter achieves exactly what they hoped for.

That said. I do understand what you mean about the pressure. I think though it is pressure ARMY put on themselves, not anything the members make us do. I think as long as ARMY keeps it in perspective that this is a goal and whether or not it is met, it does not diminish anything - not the song, not us and certainly not BTS.

People often say fandoms are too focused on the charts, so I hope we all remember that.
