I dont care about the concepts, song is either trash or good, with Twice most of the case, it is always worth listening to

If they come back to cute concept, then all the other groups that went big with it is gonna have a serious setback like weeekly and stayc. Since that means that TWICE is gonna fill up (and most likely dominate) that niche again.

It will be brighter then CFM or ICSM but i doubt it will be as cute as WIL, especially since that was about wondering what it was like to be in love and wishing for that feeling. Taste of Love seems more in the vein of the giddy, excited feeling when you start dating and want to knowing everything about the other person i think.

We'll see... it can be hard sometimes once girl groups have moved on to mature concepts to be able to capture the bright side again. But TWICE have pulled off strong comebacks before. And I trust David Amber's writing.

OMG has a lot of brand reputation i don’t think they will be affected tbh, unless they both release at same timeline and compete.

If i remember correctly, the only groups that was successful on Twice’s cute concept domination was Red Velvet, bc their cute sound is veeeery distinct, and OMG with their secret garden (again, another distinct sound vs twice).

What’s “popular” is actually why competition is tough. Just look at Twice’s cute concept era that they popularized. They dominated cute concept so much that the only way to actually compete with them in that concept is to actually make a very distinct sound like Red Velvet’s Rookie or OMG’s Secret Garden (which btw isnt even cute concept, it’s more like Gfriend’s innocent concept).

If im remembering correctly, stayc’s producer is BEP that made most of Twice’s hits, right?

What’s popular doesnt always translate to charting and recognition. Even looking at today, Blackpink dominates Girl Crush. Anything that’s released with that concept is bound to be compared to theirs. G-idle’s sound is distinct enough to be popular, and Itzy fills in a niche subgenre of Teen Crush. Their sounds don’t really clash, that’s why they can coexist.
