guys i think he was joking. his older sister said she only speaks two languages. his dad never taught him portuguese and he moved from china to korea when he was extremely young so he doesn’t remember mandarin either! again i’m just speculating but i’m assuming he’s only fluent in two (korean and english) and knows basic japanese!

I speak better English then my mother language. My brain is rusty from not speaking it for over 10 years…

I claim 1 and half language. Hyuka is amazing. Some of those languages are not fluent but as a foreigner living in a foreign country that’s don’t really matter as long as you know enough to get you around.

He left China when he was around 8, I believe, so it's possible that he still knows some Mandarin. I doubt he can speak any Portuguese though, as I doubt his dad taught him any.
