AOT FINAL CHAPTER DISCUSSION

Reiner lives in the end!

I feel like there were so many themes thrown that were supposed to be more expanded in storytelling.

What was the discussion between Historia and Eren? What was the point of having that mysterious discussion?

Founding Titan doesn't have the ability to change the past so how did Eren use the Founding Titan to change the direction of titan Dina? Attack titan can only send memories to past users. Eren controlling titans in past with the Founding Titan makes no sense for me.

They went with Code Geass ending: Eren would make the whole world hate him which would ultimately unite people through his death.

It felt kind of underwhelming. I liked the ending with Mikasa and Eren on the hill. I loved Levi’s ending too and some parts of Armin and eren’s conversation (imo it could’ve been done better).

One big thing that kind of bothered me about this series is that I wish Eren’s actions were more condemned idk if i can remember but I feel like Hange was the only character to really denounce what eren was doing. That always really bothered me. In this chapter it just seemed like no one in the alliance firmly acknowledged it. Or maybe I’m not analyzing well but that’s just what it felt like to me.

Another big part of the end that bothered me the most was that everything with Ymir and the worm thing we were told what happened and i wish it was shown.

I wish we got to see the consequences of the rumbling on the environment and on the rest of the world, it was subtle but I would’ve preferred the chapter to focus on that imo. I would’ve preferred that rather than the little epilogue, dont really know how to feel about that, but I liked seeing the consequences of Eren’s actions on Paradis. It’s kinda messed up but it was interesting to see.

Basically best characters imo- Hange, Levi, Erwin, Onyankopon, Jean, Pieck, Gabi and Falco

I mean yeah it felt weird idk its not a perfect ending. I kinda reread a bit of it and I think it just needed more time to flesh things out honestly, I feel like it needed more chapters. I’m neutral about it
