i remember using duolingo once, i gave up on it though

youtube has some fun tutorials for basics and duolingo is free but annoying.

Duolingo is your best bet when it comes to free, online practicing. Not everyone knows this, but they also have stories and a section called 'tips' that explains the grammar and alphabet system.
Talk To Me in Korean is a podcast for English learners. Not all of the episodes are free, but they have a Youtube channel.
Not really the best resource, but I would also suggest following accounts on Instagram that give Korean study tips.
Other than that, I would recommend searching your public library for resources.

main alphabet/consonants:
each consonant has an actual way to say it but that's kinda fluff info so go with basics first, yeah? i'll add a word that has the phonetic sound, but as in many other languages, the sound can change sometimes.
ㄱ - g - girl
ㄴ - n - no
ㄷ - d - dog
ㄹ - l - love
ㅁ - m - mouse
ㅂ - b - bunny
ㅅ - s - sun
ㅇ - (ng) can also be silent - runni(ng) - ((ng/silent)a)loe
ㅈ - j - jog
ㅊ - ch - child
ㅋ - k - kite
ㅌ - t - tire
ㅍ - p - poop
ㅎ - h - hat
the following are double letters for consonants but this isn't really separate from the above:
ㄲ - gg/gk
ㄸ - dd/dt/td
ㅃ - bb/pb/bp
ㅆ - ts/t

I use Teudia for Korean and it's a free phone app where people will speak to you and you answer back. You also get taught by Momoland Nancy at the very beginning which I think is pretty cool.
There are also some helpful channels on YouTube and I also use Duolingo for text things.
The reason I use Teudia the most is mainly because I'm focusing on the speaking part, but there are some other things that may help you with writing and understanding.
Not really sure for Japanese.
