I feel so sad for NJz

Even once they resume their actives the girls will never be the same
It feels like it’s taking its toll
I hope they still enjoy the making music/performing aspect! -

Forcing them to perform as 3 or 4 at this point would be completely inhumane. There is literally 0% chance any version of them that appears on camera for HYBE would be authentic, when they are being held hostage after watching one of their sisters get her career murdered by the very same captors keeping them against their will.
I don't see how anyone could want them to return under those circumstance. I would actually prefer they wait out their contracts than suffer through that miserable, painful experience while HYBE gives them dollar store tracks and weaponizes them in their lawsuits against MHJ.

To be fair, they realistically only have themselves (and MHJ) to blame. They made the mistake of trying to break their contracts without a legal basis for doing so, then they made the mistake of agreeing to go back without a solid plan in place. I know they're young, but they should've known this would happen. Hybe is a nasty piece of work that is taking advantage of every mistake, but this was all entirely predictable. They squared up with a monster and got eaten.

Yep, it totally sucks and it makes me angry to think about.
HYBE shouldn’t be allowed to do what they are doing to Danielle. To fight tooth and nail in court for them, claiming kpop would be over if they didn’t go back to their company, only to blindside 3 of them and then make a folk devil out of Danielle and sue her for such a ridiculous amount.
I think Danielle will surprise us (and HYBE) in how strong and straight-thinking she is, but that doesn’t make up for this terrible situation HYBE has put them all in.

It's a frustrating moment because I felt the group was right there and it just got yanked. Plus, they left us with supernatural which I felt was one of the best kpop songs, and it was giving us a glimpse of what the NewJeans sound is going to evolve into.
As for Danielle, I think you have to feel for her because she said she wanted back and then Hybe pulled a fast one. I think Danielle will be fine as a soloist because I think she will have connection to create good music. It also helps she would have a lot of fans to support her, so I think she will perform well as a soloist.
