    But their influence is much more BB and 2ne1.

    Yeah they’re like a weird mixture of bb and 21. They’re the kids of those two groups and it’s obvious teddy uses a lot of inspo from the past on ADP.


    Maybe the sense of nostalgia mixed in with the modernness of the 2020’s is what has korea in a chokehold with adp.

    Yeah I think that era is very nostalgic for Koreans, not just older millennials but also for Gen Z and Gen Alpha who listened to it as kids. You see it’s influence in the Korean underground scene too (spoilered to not clog up the thread, but these are 3 songs that scream 2NE1 (one is even called “Like 2NE1”):

    "ONE MORE TIME" sounds like something BIGBANG and 2NE1 would make if those two groups decided to collaborate today, and that's why I love it so much.


    "YOU AND I" definitely sounds like it could be a 2NE1 song. 2NE1 had their fair share of reggae-influenced music.


    Annie gives me CL flashbacks. Those two hung out, and it seems like Annie learned a lot from CL!

    First of all, 2NE1’s music is definitely not corny. :meme-hiss:


    And yeah, 2NE1 and ADP are "kinda" similar, but it’s mostly just the vibe and influence. ADP is like a less talented, less charismatic version of 2NE1, but I still can't say I don't see any influence or similarity at all. That's just the 2nd-gen vibe. I can also see Bigbang's influence. I like ADP, but their songs aren't on the same level as 2NE1’s for me.

    i find adp pretty talented in my opinion 🤔. they just dont have a main vocal. but their main rapper, dancer are VERY talented wft :watt: . (woochan, baily... they're top tiers in their category)


    they don't have a bom or a daesung tho...


    and Tarzan is very charismatic and pretty talented to but the hate trains against him are insane so....


    not as much as gd or cl but he still is. the whole group actually has charisma and personality!
