The biggest difference with Asa can be attributed to weight loss. I'm not ruling out plastic surgery, but I think the weight loss had a far greater impact.
With Pharita, I think it's just makeup that's making the difference.

I haven’t kept up with babymonster content. But I remember with Treasure, it went downhill after YG photoshopped and removed Yedam and Mashiho out of a photoshoot that they took with all the other members. Then 5 months later, YG announced they were leaving Treasure

Rami was diagnosed with pneumothorax even during the elimination show .When you think about it, it’s actually crazy how well she performed during the US and Asia tours despite that and she’s the main vocal on top of everything. BABYMONSTER is a group that tours a lot, so I don’t think Rami will have the luxury of fully recovering with such a packed schedule.
I totally get why fans are worried; no matter what, people want some kind of update from the company. But honestly, I don’t think the situation is as dramatic as some make it out to be. I’m pretty sure Rami will come back, and I really don’t see her leaving the group or getting kicked out.

That's the thing, they intentionally added her to the new backgrounds during the most recent fancon, as well as adding her to the background of both Hot Sauce and We Go Up stages, they arn't trying to erase her they are just not focusing directly on her or bringing attention to her being gone.
They would of only received the MR that YG submitted which would of been the MAMA version.

I remember seeing a few posts from Rami’s mom around the time Babymonster did the PUBG and Oreo promotions, but later on I also came across some comments saying that she’d gone quiet and stopped posting about Babymonster altogether.

Oh really? I assumed the background music for speeches were picked and chosen by MAMA. And the live performances backtrack are the ones that are obv submitted by the companies cuz some groups usually do remixes to their songs

I know shit like that happens but doesn't mean people don't get illnesses or get depressionshe even said it herself that happens but not in all occassions. Plus I'm sure she said it for the sake of being controversial too
We have been known for a while that Rami does have an illness it's nothing new. This was known before Ahyeon came back

I think some people are zeroing in too much on the whole "hiatus for plastic surgery" thing. It's still perfectly reasonable to be suspicious whenever someone goes on hiatus for unspecified "health reasons," because Kpop companies are unimaginative and love to give that bog standard explanation, but it could actually be a cover-up for any number of other things, not just plastic surgery. There have even been instances where an idol has actually left their group, supposedly for "health reasons," only for them to come out later and offer an entirely different reason for their departure.
