I think it depends on how much was allocated to comebacks, which I imagine wouldn't have been a lot, as whilst they produced amazing music, they didn't prove to be worthy for YG, as they didn't raise that much revenue compared to their K-pop groups.

but as both AMKU and YGE said - they had a lot of creative and individual freedom which is one thing that YGE artists always had going for them
