Seems extreme to me because I would’ve just thought it’s a weird lamp, and wouldn’t think it looked liked the mushroom cloud from atomic bomb.
I don’t think fans are boycotting because shows are sold out . However, unsure if any are looking to get rid of tickets. I just know the right wingers that are making noise are attacking Japanese fans defending NingNing and even getting angry at Giselle because she’s Japanese
I think very messy situation because I don’t even think NingNing could apologize because it could anger fans in China tbh. Plus she’s from the city where Japanese did experiments on Chinese people during the war

I follow several Japanese accounts on Twitter, along with those who live in Japan, but are from abroad, and they claim that Japanese Twitter overrepresents right-wingers, whilst English Japanese Twitter overrepresents left-wingers, so whilst it looks like a lot of people are outraged, they're likely a minority of people.

I mean.... it doesn't just look like an atomic explosion, it literally is an atomic explosion. An interesting piece to be sure. I'm not sure if NingNing should be catching heat for it, especially now, several years later, but I will say she does have a bit of a passive-aggressive streak, and it's probably only a matter of time before she gets in trouble for something that was 100% intentional.
Mmm, to get out of this mess, I'd say I just buy the Metal Slug Alien Lamp.
