    I don't think Ceremony will do as amazing as Chk Chk Boom as a single because it's very catered to just their audience. CCB had a lot of casual interest as well due to being less noisy and more "gp friendly".


    They always seem to swing between wanting a balance between their sound + being more easily digestible, to then going all-in noisy catering just to their audience. Like with Maniac (balance) to S-Class ( polarizing), CCB (balance) to Ceremony (polarizing).


    So best-performing album ofc, but I think CCB will remain their best charting single overall for now.

    It reminds me more of CHEESE, VENOM and MOUNTAINS that started off as the bigger songs, but ended up surpassed by Red Lights, Charmer and I Like It than MEGAVERSE's trajectory.

    Agreed. It takes a while before we see the clear favorites and which ones start rising later. I think Phoenix might be it.

    I Like It's popularity might have been a bit surprising to them. It's one of their most popular, it did 300k yesterday (more than flopping on water btw :skull: ). But I'm not sure how much fans actually want songs that are very pop as title tracks? Though Ig I Like It would've done well (but I doubt better than CCB).

    Not as title track, but nowdays they don't even invest in them as potential promotional tracks for the album. 'I Like It', for example, It's clearly the catchiest song of the album after Chk Chk Boom and they chose 'JJAM' to promote as a b-side stage after CCB.


    Someone might argue It's cause CCB was already more pop so they wanted to balance things out, but then we have 'CEREMONY' as a title track, but we got (only) BLEEP and CREED as unveils and there isn't another promotional song as far as we are aware.


    It isn't exactly something that bothers me, per say, since I like to listen to them in both styles, but It's just curious.

    Day 4 Ceremony is #67 with 1,77M streams on Spotify Global. On Spotify US it has done better than CCB all days until now, it's #65 with 448k (+49k) streams today. It also re-entered in Brazil and is still charting in Germany, SK and Japan as well. Also for now it's predicted to chart #27 on UK Singles Chart.
