Honestly, it's probably in their best interest to disband.
If they are struggling to reach 10k followers on their personal accounts, their viability as a group to actually generate some profit is unlikely.
They have some really young members. It's not too late for them to go back to school and find a different path. Maybe even redebut somewhere else.

This story is so odd because social media followers doesn't equal engagement. There are many social media accounts with high followers and low engagement.
It's most likely for the best to disband and look at options outside of the company. There are many ways to continue to be a part of the industry and this group is most likely not a viable options.

Good point.
There are some people that are followed by lots of people because they're household names. Not necessarily everyone is really a fan.
Therefore it is more interesting for a company to advertise with someone who has 10 million followers but very dedicated engagement than with someone who has 50 million but only very casual followers.

their two most popular members don't have instagram accounts tho because they are 07 and 08 liner
but what's funniest tho is that two of them are allowed to post freely on account created for classy members on twitter
