Thoughts? Honestly, I thought it would take a lot longer for a new group to hit the ground running as fast as NJ's did, especially post-COVID and during this downturn in Kpop's popularity, but here we are.
Can ADP surpass NJ as the biggest monster rookie group ?

They literally debuted yesterday, let them have their first year and then we'll see...

If you're asking only about South Korea, then I don't know the numbers so I've no idea.
If you're asking overall: ADP have absolutely no numbers outside of SK at all, unlike NewJeans. So at least so far, the answer is very easily no.
Also, this is ofc just from what I've seen, but the way NJ debuted and their whole sound was unlike anything else in kpop. I have not seen ADP's debut being treated with such amaze.

I didn't have to see that

I've seen a lot of negative press on them in international circles so definitely not NJs level. They need to make it big domestically+internationally to be monster rookies.

of course they can - anything is possible
if the question is "is it likely?" probably not but records and achievements are meant to be broken
