This is EASILY the best K-Pop album released in the past 3 years

And it's not even close.

But if it was, the close second would be

Instant classics.

But going back to New Jeans, it's no surprise it is already the most successful girl group album in Korea ever.

Hype Boy officially turns 3 years old next month, and it is STILL charting at 60 on the daily charts. It's even charting ahead of I Am now, and just think about the crazy longevity that song has.

But moving away from the metrics and back to the music, from charts back to arts, what a flawless self-introduction to the K-Pop world, and it hasn't been topped since.

This industry needs them back ASAP.

Get Up is fantastic. It's quite literally the most critically acclaimed K-Pop album ever

But New Jeans, given the full context of its sudden drop, and its impact, and the legendary status of its two lead singles, is immaculate.

That album will be cherished for as long as people care about K-Pop.
