    Multiple comebacks by 5th gen who is supposed to end 4th gen and they can't even kick Day6 6 and 8 year old songs off the charts

    The top group is Day6 which is 3rd gen, followed by a couple of soloists and 4th gen artists. I have to scroll to .... what rank 9 to see a 5th gen group. Even HiatusJeans is above 5th gen groups

    Like yay congrats you have 1 huge hit by BOYNEXTDOOR (which I actually love it's one of the best 5th gen BG songs) in 2025. tws had their biggest hit last year and .... and y'all cant even tell me how many members there are in tws.


    If anything, y'all should be using PLAVE as your argument instead because PLAVE is the only one outdoing SVT that just dropped their album but y'all only care about BIG 4 groups coz y'all are BIG 4 suckers the total debut streams of RIIZE and BOYNEXTDOOR COMBINED is even LESS THAN PLAVE

    5th gen feels so fake, like yes the whole kpop is but somehow for this gen, it's like a whole new level of manufactured success. Companies are clearly pushing them with inflated numbers. Like suddenly, these new boy groups are charting like crazy, they're not even remotely near as popular as Skz, Enha or Txt in Korea I believe. It all just happened out of nowhere.


    What’s even weirder is the sales. Most 4th gen groups and even Seventeen are seeing a drop, but 5th gen groups are somehow thriving? Their numbers keep going up like there’s no economic crisis happening that affected the whole industry. You’d think newer groups would be affected more compared to their more stable seniors, but nope.

    The truth is 5th gen don’t really have any groups to solidify it.


    I think 5th gen is going to end up being another 4th gen where there’s a very slow start and then the actual monsters debut in the later half of the generation.


    The Ives, Le Sserafims, Aespas, Newjeans, etc of 5th gen have yet to debut imo.
