I found a Kpop BG stan at work recently lol. We talked about BGs for awhile which made me think about ranking my fave BG songs currently.
6. Magic Shop by BTS. The epitome of a BG ballad, it's flawless.
5. Lovesong by TXT. We need more rock/Kpop fusion. This chorus is prob the best BG chorus i've ever heard in Kpop.
4. Show Me Your Pride by Lionesses. Literally the nuguest of nugus but this song STILL ends up on all my playlists.
3. Fiction by Ryujin/Chaeyeon/Minnie/Isa. Not a fan of vocals in OG version, but this cover is GLORIOUS. Ryujin's vocals still blow me away she is criminally wasted by JYP tbh.
2. Mixtape 2 by Stray Kids. Lyrical rap at its peak. This song is legendary, mixing emo lyrics with a perfect rap flow. This makes me cry
