Imagine thinking this group couldn't have a successful world tour

  • Well of course they can, did anyone ever even say they couldn't? Who are you fighting with this 1?

Doubt they'd be selling out stadiums in the US like the big dogs, but obviously they'd be able to tour as well as any other 4th gen group.

Okay, you all can stop with the hackneyed gaslighting attempts, as if it hasn't been argued by haters for literal years now that NewJeans hasn't proven they can successfully tour.

I have presented two samples of how moronic that argument is. If you don't want to claim ownership of said argument, that is fine, but don't pretend it doesn't and hasn't existed.

    That's bullshit.

And NewJeans is already one of the big dogs. 70,000 people don't sing along to songs from artists who haven't achieved that status. Big dogs sell out Tokyo Dome faster than any foreign act in the history of the venue.

  • Ngl I think so many companies are uniting to see them banned because they want to free up the hundreds of millions of dollars in sales and advertising for their own groups

One company pretty much said the quiet part out loud when they were rolling out their new group

Can you imagine how much the other company execs are kekekeing behind closed doors at HYBE sabotaging their own artist and opening the door for other companies to claim previously occupied territory and real estate?

I would be on Cloud 9 if it was me.

But a seemingly invincible empire crumbling under the weight of its own hubris is a tale as old as time honestly.

  • I mean, they haven't proven they can successfully do a world tour lol, that is a true statement.

Even without Lolla and Tokyo Dome, it's probably safe to say they COULD do a successful world tour, but neither of those examples is enough to say they'd be on par with true big dogs like BP.

Meh. Doing a world tour and touring as successfully as BP are two different arguments, and I'm only interested in the former.

But before they were very rudely interrupted, NewJeans was on a historic pace. A successful world tour was a given. Hence why OG ADOR planned to have one this year.

But that's okay. Good things come to those who wait. And I can be patient.

  • Now it’s pretty clear that NJ wasn’t strong enough to go up against HYBE. seems like they were too dependent on HYPE. A huge mistake was made, and honestly, I’d be really surprised if they manage to come back without any damage. Anyway, the main point is even if NJ is in the more successful tier, they’re definitely not the only group whose whole career got messed up because of their own company.

  • If Kiss of Life can have a World Tour then NEWJEANS can too.

NEWJEANS currently wouldn't have a World Tour with the numbers that BP and TWICE have, even without the controversy.

But World Tours for GGs are more assessable than they were when Wondergirls and 2Ne1 were popular.
