Do you prefer the Book or the Movie of your favorite series

I also prefer the books. I'm happy when they're good but more often than not, the adaptations are not as good as the source material.

I agree that the books often have more details and it's also nice that you can imagine the characters and the setting in your own way. The movies/shows sometimes change a lot or simplify the story and it's super frustrating.

the dune movies take me to a place the books cannot.

same with the lord of the rings films.

None of my favorite books have movies But honestly idk if I'd want them to.

good books good movies - LOTR but I prefer the movies because they are really well made and even though the three movies are LONG they are still shorter than the books

good books god movie - Harry Potter - I prefer the books because the movies don't capture all the things going on in the story
