I feel like learning an instrument

  • I don't know if this is a feeling that will go away tomorrow, but...

Even though I can only play the piano (and I'm no Mozart)

and I haven't played it in a while.

Well... perhaps some of you can recommend an instrument that I can learn to play.

But I don't want to go buy an instrument and play on it and then just lose interest shortly after.

I do remember owning a violin and kinda wanted to learn to play it, but then lost interest. (and now someone else owns that violin)

Well... we have a mandolin and some harmonicas in my house.

I have a feeling though that to learn the mandolin you perhaps need to learn to play the guitar first.

    This thread is so random.

  • plaly the drums...

    simple

get a wooden spoon turn some pots over and go to town! free, simple, and noisey! use your beak!

  • my wife is the musical talent in my family

    she can play the piano

she can play a little of the violin

she can play a little of the cello

she can play a little of ocarina

  • If you want to learn how to play a guitar but kind of want something easier, I recommend a ukulele! Maybe it will help with learning the mandolin later too, however I've never played one, so I'm not entirely sure.

I used to play the guitar while in high school but always found it hard to play and sing at the same time. Also, I have small hands so it was a struggle

But recently I felt like going back to it and my friend told me to get a ukulele, and it is much easier, imo. There are even some kpop songs tutorials on youtube. I only tried one, for IVE's Either Way, but it's really fun. and the chords are simple and easy to remember.
