Yeah, definitely the best of the BP solo albums now I've let it digest.
It's cohesive, and every song has an unmistakable "Jennie" sound and feel, but every so track is different enough that they don't sound samey or blur together.
It has great production values to it. You can tell that Jennie has put a lot of thought and work into.
It doesn't feel quite as personal as Rosie was, Jennie doesn't let herself be as vulnerable or emotion driven as Rose did, but I think you still do get to feel who Jennie is through these songs. She doesn't sound as superficial or braggadocios as Lisas album did, even though there are songs about living large (sorry all, but Alter Ego is my least favourite of the solo albums).
I genuinely hope this album does really well for Jennie, because you can really tell how hard she's really worked for this.
