Do you believe in ghosts, spirits, etc?

  • Yeah, and I think that's sad. But people tend to be scared to end up looking like a weirdo, when they talk about things they may experienced. A lot of people also tell me that most of it just was my imagination and I actually kept a lot of it to myself until I had a roommate that was very interested in anything occult and had that as a hobby for a while. So talking to him made me talk and also accept the fact more. I often also thought "Oh, you're imagening things. You're so creative and you watched too much 'Supernatural', that's where it comes from."
But I not only had like scary things happening but also things that made me happy or comforted me. So I don't only believe in the scary and spooky stuff, but also in the good one. And in nature and science things are always in balance. "Every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction", thats Newton's third law. So I think it applies for the supernatural, too.

I'm glad that you were able to talk freely about your experiences with your roommate. <3

Also, Newton's third law really can make sense in a situation like this.

He was a bit of a strange guy, but not in a bad way. More of like in a "socially a bit incompetent" way xD
We had a very strange experience once at Halloween.

I was sitting on the couch studying for uni. Sun had set and a few kids were giggling around town tricking or treating. My roommate was in his room, but had the door to the living room open, gaming. We lived next door to a church, I think it was russian-ortodox or something in that direction. I suddenly experienced a cold shiver running down my spine, but felt no wind or anything. And from the cornor of my eyes I could see a figure standing in the dark place of the room where the bathroom door was. A teenager maybe, not as tall as a grown-up, wearing a cap. Head down. When I looked up it was gone. So I was like: "Oh, you should stop playing horror games, your head is imagening stuff. Bad Hallowwen influence." Then my roommate came from his room, pale, and looked at me. "Did you see that just now?" I was so puzzled, I asked what he'd seen. "There was a kid standing here." Next day he did some research and found that there had been a young boys burial service in the church we lived next to, a few years ago. He died on Halloween day. We had made a few jokes about it the day over, but not after he found that article.

  • I think this exact same way

I always try to convince people in my life and no one ever believes me. So much stuff happened in my life in the last 2 years that was absolutely unlikely to ever happen and it still did that I just started to be convinced that something isnt right out there. Thats how people in the nuthouse must feel. You keep on blabbering something and everyone just tells you "yeah yeah" and then they give you your medicine and think youre insane.

  • my sister is the demon.

We all decide in what we believe in through mostly thoughts, rarely is it through actions.

Each of you have come to beliefs through action, yet many try to brush of experiences like the ones you all have experienced individually. But I hope that all three of you know that there will be people who will listen, and who will/try understand where you are coming from within your beliefs. I really enjoyed having this discussion with all of you, and thank you again for sharing your thoughts with me, I deeply appreciate it. If any of you want to talk more about this topic, or any of your experiences, feel free to send me a message. <3

  • Yes I do. I know my late mother is watching over me and now my father and I have had signs ie, cigarette smoke etc. I was told once by a Clair that my Grandmother is my spirit guide and she saved my life after a bike accident back in the 80’s. I also believe in ghosts although have never seen one. I have been in a haunted house though.

  • Yes, I believe in the spiritual dimension, demons, ghosts etc. I think we sometimes overappreciate the human senses and think that just because we cannot see things or hear something, they also don't exist. The science, as we know it now, cannot do research on non-physical entities and objects and can therefore not prove that something spiritual exists or doesn't exist. So you only have experiences here to state that for now.
