What are your honest opinions about Illit and its members?

    As a loyal runext watcher, here’s what I think about Illit:


    1. This is a popular opinion, but I genuinely think they will debut with a dark girl-crush concept. The four members in this group really stand out and shine with that kind of concept! So, no hate, but I’m quite disappointed to see how childish their actual concept is.


    2. Iroha is an extremely talented dancer, but she’s kind of overshadowed in Illit. And please, the veneer… whoever suggested that for her needs to be fired.


    3. Moka’s vocals surprised me. Maybe it’s because runext was heavily autotuned and pitch-corrected, but yeah… Yet, she shocked me the most with how well she fits a cute concept, even though she doesn’t seem to favor it.


    4. Minju is the group’s main pillar. She’s talented, beautiful, and an all-rounder in terms of skills. However, she’s a bit reserved, which makes her quite underrated.


    5. Unpopular opinion as everyone thought she's stans out too much, but I think Yunah a crucial part of Illit once the group matures their sound and concept. She will be the one who fits it best.


    6. Wonhee is adorable. She’s always been my favorite, and yes, I voted for her too, haha. She gives off that little sister energy that makes you love her. However, her facial expressions still need improvement. Even now, she sometimes looks like a cute, confused kid on stage.



    7. Overall, I like Illit. I enjoy their songs and love the members. However, I’m not fond of Hybe using them as competition against Nj. I was so excited to see interactions between the two groups. Youngseo, for instance, was thrilled to meet Nj as an idol, and I know other members idolize them too. Yet here we are now.

    I don't really rate any of their songs. "Magnetic" is on my playlist, but I don't really listen to it the whole way when it comes on. They're new group, so there's room to see where they go.

    As far as the group and individually, I have no opinions because I haven't watched their content yet, if they had any.

    Positive opinions

    Cute songs and concepts suit every single member of the group, I don’t understand why people keep pushing that girl crush narrative!

    They are pretty good dancers



    Negative opinions:

    No stage presence, no star quality or aura, below average vocals, short TikTok songs like newjeans, either too much autotune in their songs or cursive singing! Also I genuinely thought that they were njs when magnetic came out!

    They should’ve debuted at least a year later after serious training with their vocals and stage presence

    Yunah - so pretty, hybe will pay for wasting her potential

    Minju - pretty and has one of the best vocal tones in Kpop

    Moka - is weird


    I don't like any of the members except Yunah and Minju. Their songs are good. Magnetic was catchy and Cherish was the best October release. Overall, they just aren't anything special + this entire HYBE/NJ/ADOR fiasco ruined any success they could have had. I pity them but that's it. I will check out their releases as I do with most popular GGs.

    I like them! I haven't watched any content from them, but Magnetic and Lucky Girl were some of my favorite songs this year (still currently)


    I also ended up really liking Cherish (the 2nd verse is sooo good) and Tik tak is really cute also.


    I think the members all perform pretty well for the most part.


    Minju is their silent weapon. She has a cool unique tone and she's gorgeous.


    Yunah i think is going to a 5th generation visual in a couple years.


    Moka is adorable/powerful as hell when performing.


    Wonhee has the wide eyed thing down pact which works for her youth. I'm curious to see how she grows as a performer.


    And I think Iroha is a backbone member for the group. I love that no matter is she's singing or rapping, I can ALWAYS hear her voice. Even if it's off a bit since she's killing the dance moves, I just love that I can always hear her voice at least and that shes trying.

    Too new to have much of an opinion. I thought they started out well, but their comeback was just okay. Minju clearly stands out and she has a nice voice. I can sense Yunah potentially becoming popular among international fans.


    Hopefully their next comeback is stronger, but I don't think the gorup as a whole stands out when compared to their peers

    Wonhee - she just fits the concept the group, like the image was built around her. I highly agree that she does have that confused expression sometimes, but it kinda fits the concept.


    Minju - pillar of the group


    Iroha - I don't have much opinion about her


    Moka - she kinda drag the group because of her vocals, but she's the one with most stage presence in the group.


    Yunah - she doesn't fit the group. It looks like she's a teenager, and it makes the other members look like toddlers.


    As a group, four of them fits the concept fine. So no need to change their concept. They have nice songs, but they have to work on their live performances.

    Music:

    They have catchy songs, but I feel they still lack identity. Magnetic is too NJ-ish, Cherish and Tick Tack are catchy but in a generic way.


    Talent:

    No remarkable talent. I like Yunah's voice (I'm a sucker of mature-ish tone), but that's it.


    Visual:

    Unpopular opinion, I think Yunah is the best visual in the group.

    The girls are cute and seem nice enough… honestly they have no star factor or attention grabbing member imo. I don’t know if it’s because they were made to literally replace another group?


    I think they’re below the average kpop talent especially vocally. Performance wise they are ok but I don’t watch them enough to really give an opinion :/ Couldn’t tell you who the main anything was as no one stands out for anything imo.


    Massive turnoff pushing that one girl Wonee as she just has something about her that’s unlikeable. I feel like this group is missing something I don’t know if it’s their own identity or more members but they just feel rushed and one day they appeared trying to take over another group :huuh:
