Appreciation Thread for some of the artists I have liked over the years and my most recent artists in the K-Pop Community.

Genres: Korean R&B, Korean Soul, Korean indie and more.

I recently unboxed and currently setting up my new computer and am refreshing my youtube subscriptions, I wanted to write a small appreciation thread before getting rid of some of my subscriptions and just starting over, over there. Clearly I like many genres and many artists, and since being a kpop hardcore fan from 2017 - 2021 I was pretty into it and liked a lot of the basic artists that get you into the genre itself, but would recently try out the sub genres within the music after my two year break from kpop in 2023.

Some of the new artist I would be introduced to for the first time, do interviews for or check how my previous 'biases' were doing now a days. I'm not on Instagram anymore but it was pretty cool to see artists like my comment and posts about the for the first time, one included a member of the previous boy group LUCENTE and Noir including the BLITZERS group account in the pre debut days, so that was super cool.

My Favourite Songs.

If you are looking for an artist who is a brilliant performer and is incredible on stage and with an audience, Jeong Sewoon could be that artist. You may not have heard of him but he mostly focuses on promotions in Korea and establishing his Korean fanbase, we are called 'Lucky'/ Luckies and he often uses the emojis when talking about us: 🍀 . He's on a ton of OST as well so you might even recognize his voice.

I originally contacted his management to write an exclusive interview for another site for him, he mentioned the previous articles I have written about him and even sent a selfie, informing me he read them which was incredibly sweet and he didn't have to. He used to (he may still) be pretty good at liking comments and being active with fans. He does a lot of the songs himself and I think he deserves so much more attention then he gets.

I saw Colde just after my birthday (of which I saw and attended a fansign for OnlyOneOf in April), and he was incredible. BaseCamp performed some songs for the first time and I'm not sure if his mic was quiet or he was nervous but they were pretty good and I hope they can get more confidence. They were great. Milena performed as well and she was great with the crowd.

Like rock but want a little bit of punk added in? You should defifently check out Do Hanse's music. He's most known for being the rapper within the group 'VICTON' but has since started out as a solo artist and have been showing his own interest and sharing his genre with us in his releases. His solo music currently hasn't been my personal taste, but as one of my first 'biases' ever, it's really cool to see. Having him/ his SNS team like my comment was pretty cool.

The most recent duo I have came across, originally I made some postings here and have created a thread about them when they just debuted, having around 300 ish followers at the time and they have been improving a lot. While also releasing english versions of their songs, the member Blanc has a style I just love and have been loving recently.

One of the nicest companies management to contact for an interview or press release about his songs, GRIZZLY often comments fans comments and is pretty cool, he has a unique colour and really suggest his music if you like indie and r&b.

He did a series asking fans where he should go sing live and record a video, and has several episodes so far:

One of the newest artists I have came across: Kenessi and MIICHI.

Not a lot is known about him and he has stated that he wants to be known for his music instead of his visuals/ face, and he has a pretty good voice. I would like to see the support for him improve one day.
