I’m really curious about what will happen with NJ now that they’ve threatened to terminate their contract. Some people speculate that MHJ might start her own company for them, but doesn’t she have a non-compete clause that prevents her from working in the entertainment industry in the next few years? Even if she tries to challenge that contract in court, it would still take a very long time to settle, especially considering how Hybe operates.
If that’s the case, what will happen to the NJ members? Will they retire completely from the industry, or will they join an already established company? MHJ plays such a significant role in shaping their concept and identity, and I doubt smaller companies would be able to maintain that standard. It’s worrying to think about where they might end up.
