    I think what they meant by biggest is the fans power to make things happen by their action for their artist. Taylor (or any Western Singer ) doesn't need fans voting or organized movement for certain acts. İdk ı might be wrong tho this just my interpration

    I think it is because that kpop as genre has strong fan culture contrast to Western singers. and kpop fans are so online on every social platform eventually they decided to make category for kpop fans.

    I just watched the nomination list. It's not just Kpop. Yeah, anyone who says Lisa is bigger than any of these people is mad. I think MTV just use some random generator, because this doesn't make sense. 😂


    I wouldn't say Kpop fans are more active online, btw. I follow the whole music industry not just Kpop and most of the time, I only see Swift, Chappell, Beyonce and Megan Stallion fans. Would be interesting to see how they actually measure the fandoms for this Award, but I couldn't find anything.


    Also, looks like since 2018, ARMY won every "Biggest Fans" awards till Lisa, so it's not even new. For me, it's new, because the last time I actually cared about MTV was like 20 years ago.😂
