Guys I lost to IU (also it's over for your faves)

  • Also it's over for your faves because if the National Singer is singing with Day6 that means their songs are going to be even more viral

Changed the title of the thread from “Guys I lost to IU” to “Guys I lost to IU (also it's over for your faves)”.
  • Well if actually depressed, then there is always the delusion used by other fandoms to handle the loss, when it comes to IU.

"IU is using my idols for clout chasing"

  • The Senior Singer is the master of alliances, always trying to ally with an act most likely to damage KPop.

A rare alliance with New Jeans last year was the exception.

She was instrumental for Bts' downfall, a story I have told quite a few times, by creating an internal division there.

Then hasn't she massively failed, after all Kpop expanded rapidly during her reign in S. Korea.

Like saying Queen Victoria was against the expansion of the British Colonial Empire.

Actually KPop is finally declining in all fronts this year, with lower sales, lower digitals, lower everything and only SKZ, with 2 English speaking members, and Illit holding the fort.

Excluding Korea and Japan, IU's concert was the largest concert of acts originating from Korea in the year 2024. And Japan is now striking back, with Yoasobi, King Gnu, Fujii Kaze and Higedan having concerts in there.

IU's reign ended on late 2021 but given the way things are going she has a very good chance of hitting #1 in the Gallup Polls, which restores her rule, and it will see more retrenchment from the rest of the world.

    Lol...who said that.

IU doesn't operate like idol groups.

She doesn't stack multiple albums version, her fans don't have streaming procedure where one fan will make multiple account for streaming, she barely make US promotion yet her concert is always full.

Every korean I encountered irl know her and respect her.

Idol groups only famous for their fans, but not for regular people.

And she doesn't make crap music that caters to demographic who easily amused like idols fandom.

And she still much much richer than idols who make US tour.

Joke on them actually. They worked hard for cpy, IU is the cpy.
