EXO is my ult group, but at this point I'd rather they completely cut ties with any affiliations with EXO/SM and just do their own thing with no EXO branding as a group, even if it means giving up their flawless discography.

Sm has always been a problematic company. They don't let go of one chance to mistreat or take advantage of their idols but they still are worshipped by fans. This is too much, fans need to boycott them and team them a lesson that they don't own these idols.

They did get paid for recent events EXO Charts just got that wrong (they get a lot of stuff wrong tbh), but they haven't gotten paid their renewal bonus. CBX's big issue is SM says they have to pay the 10% royalties, but CBX said SM reneged on their part of the agreement which was to pay 5.5% of their distribution fees (along with SM not giving them their renewal bonus). SM has claimed back that CBX is breaking the exclusive contract by not giving them their 10%. And now both sides are threatening to sue each other.

I agree. Either EXO stays with them or they are ended.

SM has responded to their claims, this looks bad. I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
