I think i'm a new type of KPOP fans.....

  • I don't think i'm a gg stan

    Neither a BG stan

    I'm a CONCEPT stan

I was fan of NCT in the past i used to buy all their full lineup album etc...

    And i like the members

But since they announce that they were throwing the unlimited members concept and the whole rotational concept, i just lost all hype and interest in them

I listen once to nct127 fact check and never came back to it

And i didn't even care about listening to Nct dream and WayV comeback

I was starting to lose interest in Aespa too during the drama era when i saw that they were becoming generic and throwing away all their dystopian/ futuristic concept and aesthetic

When XG debuted with tippy toes and mascara the song were good but i didn't care about them

Then they came back with the whole X-gene and their alien type concept

And now i'm obsess and replaying all their new songs like crazy

I was obsess with NMIXX when they debuted and O.O when they had this whole mixxtopia storyline debuting

And now that they stepped away from this, their comeback don't hype me

Am i the only one who stop losing interest when group start to become "generic"

Or start to be interested in a group when they stepped away from what all the other groups are doing ????

  • maybe it's just you being selective about what kind of music you listen to?

which is absolutely fine since you know different strokes for different folks and all that...

that then comes down to the question of why does one stan a group and there can be lots of reasons including in your case my friend the MUSIC and when the group's musical directions changes from what you are interested in you might be no longer interested in said group

  • I'm really really excited in stayC comeback

Especially since they say it's something never try in kpop before

I think that part was kind of a mistranslation

maybe it was more like something that STAYC didn't try yet or 'isn't popular in kpop'

we will see, it's still many days till comeback tho

  • Basically you are a normie or casual but within kpop community with lots of experience.

Usually normie or casuals are people not particularly interested in groups or kpop, they just like a song or two.

You are different from them because you have lots of information about the said acts and kpop world in general, but you don't have a perticular connection with individual artists hence when they don't put out music according to your preference, you loose interest in them.
