Why are people bringing up studio recorded vocals, where idols receive constant coaching and feedback from the producers, record and re-record until it's perfect, and most importantly, aren't doing any choreo whatsoever?
Idols not being able to sing is so wild to me

I didn't even call out any specific group. I questioned why we're bringing up studio recorded vocals as if there aren't several obvious reasons why any singer sounds much better in studio than a live environment.

its still kinda embarrassing to be gaslighting yourself to still be stanning lesserafim- my point is that lesserafim dont even sound decent it the studio, which is not good

It's not shocking. Kpop fans are obsessed with visuals. That's literally what makes people viral, makes fancams blow up, makes their Instagrams shoot up. Why would a company invest in vocals when people don't care. The current controversy is going to die and people are going to be oohing and aaing on someone's unreal visuals once again.

Like nobody in 1995 went, "oh my god, did you hear Justin smash that B flat note, he KILLED IT, your faves could never!! #livevocalsftw"
The fans were creaming over his visuals, dance moves, etc, or Nsyncs songs, nobody was going around chest thumping about vocals. Most nonfans woulda laughed in their faces tbh, could you imagine an Nsync or Backstreetboys fan bragging about vocals to non boyband listeners?
