I would like to believe after the World Cup even if South Koreans rarely ever see him on TV that he's the most known among non kpop GP because they love and worship their football team.
But who knows, he's a complete and total social unicorn. He only does majority international music based performances.

You would rarely see him in TV because he doesn't do variety shows and interview. It's pretty obvious that he prefers doing concerts and performances when he would spend 3-4 hours singing in weverse live.
One of his best for sure.

The metric I’m using to measure love here is severity of scandals and Korean’s reactions and acceptence.
GD was said to be involved in many crimes (which he was proven innocent), scandals etc.. but Korea still supports him. Like Jungkook is of course well loved but he never got into a huge scandal so we dont know how Korea will reacts. IU is is course huge but I dont think her scandals were at GD’s level..
