I have a feeling that Hae In was saved by her brother who then drowned and thus the mom blames her. This mom is so toxic!!!!!

The end of scene with Hae In finally opening up re her illness was so well done.

Emotions!!!! lol Like when Hae In realized that her in-law cares for her when they went out searching for her at the beginning. It’s also to contrast how cold her own family treats her besides the crazy aunt BJ.

HW knows deep down he can’t fake it anymore lol but it was a bit hard to see him be in denial of it for most of the episode. The flashback to how their miscarriage contributed to their miscommunication due to different grieving styles and isolation was too sad. HI is quite brave to fight her illness and even going to Germany alone since her condition can trigger at anytime.

The scene between grandpa’s evil mistress and auntie in the kitchen was great too. I don’t expect it so soon lol.

Well at least the divorce bomb is out in the open now but oh that was devastating to watch it all happen. But it all has to come out for the OTP to really build trust again. HW also has to realize his own mistakes just as much as HI.

The big emo part besides the ending, was def their angel conversation. She would come back as his angel when he passes later on and he agreed.

I don’t feel sorry for Hae In’s family at all - their own stupidity for falling into this trap. The grandpa gf, the accountant, the evil secretary, and the psycho investor —- Like this con game is so elaborate that even the youngest daughter in law is in it too lol. That is like 5 people that got in to sabotage.

It will be really interesting to see how OTP gets back together and/or save this mess of a company.

So do we think HI is having an episode at the end or is she now aware that HW still truly cares for her and this is her way of also showing him she still loves him too?

I knew it re the evil mistress and psycho were mother and son!!! I have already lost interest in all the villains of this story tho. Too cliche and no redeeming qualities!

Like I think HW finally gets it that HI’s love is expressed via her actions and what she says is doesn’t match what she actually feels. Like the scene when they sat and talked and she says she is leaving him - I think it finally dawns on him that she divorced him not for herself but to protect him from her family and her death etc. On the flip side, I think HI is also realizing the same - that HW is reallly concerned and worried about her and that is why he is doing all of this - helping her and family.

Psycho dude vs his own mother was really angsty right?!

I think we will unfortunately get the Nobel idiot trope too. I can already see that psycho will use HI’s love for HW to lure her back to Queens. HI will accept to protect HW and actually get back to the company to document and gather data for the fight etc.

The looks OTP are giving each other really says it all. I am happy that both of them surely knows now how they both are still in love and care so much for each other. I literally yelled YES out loud when HI publicly announced the blackmail threats and that she had it recorded!! She protected HW again! Mwahahahhaha check mate! But then she publically announced her illness so that psycho guy can’t use it against her anymore either. Gahhh we have to wait until next weekend - ugh!!!

We finally get aligned OTP and very sweet and heart warming moments. HW’s prayers scene was great 🔥✨💜🤣

Ok I also laughed out loud when our OTP were piecing back the shredded documents lol. Their bonding activity lol also super cute re hair drying too gah HW has great lines —- he knows what to say. HI def is still bad with words - even with good intentions to protect him from being her care taker when her condition gets worst. That was heart breaking!

Why do I think grandpa is faking his amnesia?!? The scene of HI’s mom and dad were expected and I like how they contrast dad’s awareness to the mom taking much longer to accept the truth.

Auntie and fake Leslie Cheung scenes are also so over the top LOL cringe funny is a new type of Kdrama comedy!
