f(x) had the best 3 album stretch in K-Pop history and I'll accept no arguments to the contrary

  • Do you agree that Pink Tape/Red Light/4 Walls are the 3 best consescutive albums released by a K-Pop group? 12

    1. Yes (8) 67%
    2. No (4) 33%

By consensus opinion, Pink Bible is considered arguably the best K-Pop album ever released, and I personally can't really argue with that. But there are some days where I actually think Red Light is just as good, if not a little better, and 4 Walls is also a basically zero skip album for me.

  • I'm the greatest MeU that ever lived so you already know I agree.

I can see why someone might have Red LIght or 4 Walls as their favorite but Pink Tape for me edges them out. I don't know how to describe it's greatness. It's just the most delicious pop album ever.

I've also loved how f(x) had more full albums than mini albums which is unheard of in kpop.

I literally hadn't listened to any of these albums in full in about 4 years? Maybe 5? Plenty enough time for them to potentially feel dated and for the esteem I hold them in to fade, but nope. These albums are still incredible.

For me, even in 2024, a full 9 years since the release of their last album, all three albums are basically no skip masterpieces.

  • Pinocchio repackage Hot Summer was a good album also but when compared to the others it's easy to overlook. Gangsta Boy is one of my favorite f(x) b sides while most people don't like it.

I meant the Electric Shock mini actually, my mistake. Agree on Pinocchio, it's their weakest album (but still a solid one).

Jet and Electric Shock are crazy songs and get me so hyped :pepe-loop:

The stars aligned from 2013 to 2015 with f(x) and everthing they did was just clicking. The skills, the production, the art design, it all worked. SM always gets shit for how they treated f(x) but I'm just glad they gave them the best music out of the company.

YO!!! Jet is sooooo HYPE. I thought I was the only one that loved that song. When that song starts with "MAKE YOU LOSE CONTROL" over and over and the music increases each time and then explodes! Yes it makes me want to run head first into an oncoming train cause I feel that powerful.

Electric Shock was one of the first girl group songs to really hook me into K-Pop when I was still new to everything. Do I think the song is a little camp and over the top? Sure. But I LOVE it, and I'll never stop boppin to "NANANANANANA! ELECTRIC! NANANANANANA! ELECTRIC!"

I will always loved Nu Abo from their older songs.

I actually was introduced to it on one of their varieties, where they had to basically do some busking and perform for a shop owner, and they did the part that always sounded like "Lalalalalalalalalala!" to me. Then I looked up the song after and immediately gave it bop status

  • Red Light album has my favorite f(x) song

You just became the greatest allkpop user of all time. Butterfly is God in music form. It's probably also my most listened to instrumental ever.

Butterfly is one of my top 5 f(x) songs ever. Even though there is a song called Dracula on the same album, Butterfly always felt more haunting and foreboding to me. A song that makes me feel like I'm going on a precarious journey to destinations unknown is the best way I know how to describe it.

In short, I looooooove this song
