If JYP was sabotaging Twice, then why did they resign? Clearly they like the company. This is just onces getting angry at nothing of importance.
Two things can be right at the same time.
JYP still needs that Twice money and Twice still need JYP in a way.
On the other hand it is better for company's portfolio to show that their younger groups are doing better than Twice.
It really is not different to any other business, you want the new stuff to sell. That's how you show investors that your company has a long term future.
